For Members Only: The Noble Pigeon
Pigeons share a long history with humans, making them a special and unique part of the urban landscape. First domesticated around 10,000 years ago, pigeons have been our treasured companions, talented athletes, research assistants, and even war heroes. Join us with Chris Strub, as we explore pigeon-human interactions and learn what makes this oft-maligned bird so important to us, and to our urban landscape.
The lecture will be held at the WBF Center from 5 to 6 PM on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
The first 20 members to make a reservation will be guaranteed a spot. RSVP at [email protected]
Due to high interest, this lecture has been sold out; however, there will be more opportunities for similar lectures later in the year.
